A Rip Through Time by Kelley Armstrong

First and foremost, shout out to a Canadian author. You love to see it.

This was an entertaining book: modern day detective somehow time travels to 1800’s Scotland and has to solve crimes while cosplaying as a victorian maid. I won’t give it more than “entertaining” because it was a little slow for me, and I didn’t feel particularly excited by the plot events. I’d say its a good beach read, but I wouldn’t read it in a book club.

Brb choking my uncouth self to try to pygmalion into a well-spoken and intelligent being from the future.
